On Monday 14th December 8 children represented JPS in a Forensic Science Investigation Day held at Royal Dubai School. There were 7 teams from 7 different schools participating in solving, analyzing, investigating, and critically thinking. There were many activities that involved Maths investigations and calculations, fingerprint analysis, viewing and comparing hair samples through a microscope lens, experimenting to test for poisonous powders.
The children enjoyed the challenge and worked well in a team to come out winners. Our Year 5 and Year 6 children won the award for critical thinking, whereas the Year 3 and Year 4 children won medals in the overall category as the best team of the day. A big congratulations to Qasim and Justin in Year 3, Yousef and Faisal in Year 4, Stepahnie and Jasper in Year 5, Mattis and Karim in Year 6.
