Wow, where has September gone?
Thank you to all students who have shown interest in the scrabble, chess and writing competitions that have been advertised in the newsletter. These events are now commencing and details will be sent to the pupils involved.
Our next event is the Readers Cup, I am looking for interested readers from Years 5 and 6 who have plenty of time to read and analyse books and have a really good memory as the first round in January involves remembering lots of key facts in the books chosen. Books are chosen by the organisers and the job of the team of 4 JPS children chosen is to remember and understand EVERYTHING about the book. If this sounds like something that would interest you, please apply by sending me a convincing letter by email to [email protected] or by leaving a handwritten letter in my room.
Check this space and the newsletters regularly for more events planned for JPS students.
